Application for exemption from Respect Matters Modules

This form is to apply for an exemption from completing the Respect Matters* modules, on the grounds of lived experience of sexual harm or experiencing significant distress in response to the content of the modules.

*Respect Matters is a new version of the Consent Matters Module.

As advised by the Deputy Vice Chancellor - Academic, exemptions will NOT be granted for any of the following reasons:

Professional or career experience
Age
Relationship status or relationship experience
Program of study
Time or workload demands
Religious or cultural reasons

If your application is approved, your name (but no personal information) will be forwarded to the appropriate team in order to remove the requirement to complete the modules on Canvas.

Please note:
